Genealogical Society of Davidson County Quarterly Journal
Editorial Policy:
The Genealogical Journal is published four times a year by the Genealogical Society of Davidson County and seeks to publish a variety of material relevant to the history and genealogy of Davidson County and/or its predecessors.
We always welcome and encourage contributions of articles that fit the aforementioned criteria. Any articles submitted for publication in the journal need to be in MS Word and may be up to five pages in length single spaced 12-point type including photos or other graphics. Articles should be attached to an email and sent to the editor at mondew@windstream.net. Handwritten or typed articles cannot be accepted as there is no staff to transcribe them. The Genealogical Society assumes no responsibility for errors in articles submitted for publication in the journal. Historic photos relevant to the history of Davidson County submitted independently of any articles are also welcome and should be submitted in a JPEG file and sent to the same email address along with appropriate caption.
Members of the society have the privilege of making inquiries to be published in the Journal. There will be a limit of 1 query per member each year with content of each query limited to 150 words.
At the discretion of the Board of Directors, persons desiring a review of a book in the journal may do so if a copy of the book is sent to the society and permission is granted to make said copy the property of our society.
